Below is a list of the events I have on my schedule for the 2008 knapin season
APRIL 24-27. THE NORTH GEORGIA KNAP-IN AND PRIMITIVE ARTS FESTIVAL   will again be held at the beautiful
Bartow County’s Gatewood Park near Cartersville, Georgia.  Atl-atl and flint knapping related vendors will be selling a
variety stone, tools, and finished goods.  A $25 fee will be required of all vendors.  All RV’s and non-vendor campers
must use the campground.  Camping fees are $18 per night on a first come basis. Golden Age Discounts apply.  There
is a lighted pavilion for nighttime knapping, plus modern showers and restrooms.  For more information contact:  Dave

May 23 - 25 Spring Flint Ridge located near Brownsville, Oh.
June 6 - 8  28th Annual Devil's Hole Knap - In located in Pleasant Ridge Park, Fairview Heights, IL.

July 11-13         8th annual Columbia  Tennessee knap-in. Fly's General  will again host this event. Free to the public.

July ??. Central Kentucky Knap-in.  Held at the Bernheim Forest Education Center, Clermont, KY. Interstate 65 to exit
112, Hwy 245 east approx. 1 mile to Forest entrance. Motels and restraunts are nearby Shepherdsville, exit 117. On
site primitive camping for registered participants. $15 registration fee. Shower and restrooms are available. Contact Joe

August 26 - 31  Flint Ridge Knap-In located near Brownsville, Oh.
Oct. 24 - 26. Old Bardstown Village knap-in. The Old Bardstown Village, located in Bardstown, KY.
is a pioneer village hosting 10 log cabin structures and four museums, one of them being one of the
top civil war museums in the
nation. Hawk and atl-atl throwing will also be demonstrated. Contact Neal Spalding 502-349-6729.

Oct. 17 - 19.  9th Annual Clinch River Primitive Skills Knap-In & Atlatl Throw with Arts and Crafts to be
held at The Crosseyed Cricket Campground 751 Country Lane Lenoir City, TN 37771 Go to web site

So come be with use once again for a lot of fun and a good time.
May 14-18.  Fort Osage knap-in. Highway 70 just east of Booneville, Missouri, at exit 111.  This site is very large and
has shelters, large bathrooms, showers, food concessions, and most important, it is not a swamp.  We will have room to
spare, and all on high ground.  There will also be a swap meet at the same time that draws 500 to 1000 attendees and
a tractor pull.  These plus articles in all of the surrounding town newspapers should provide an abundance of potential
buyers.  The charge for each participant will still be $5 and hook-ups will be $20. This is a web site for the new location

APRIL 5-6. THE KENTUCKY KLASSIC TRADITIONAL & PRIMITIVE BOW SHOOT   This event has been going on for
more than 10 years. It is held at Pulaski County Park in Nancy Kentucky. Right on the banks of beautiful Lake
Cumberland near Somerset Kentucky.
