PRESSURE FLAKERS
My pressure flakers are constructed from a 6 inch long section of 7/8 inch diameter structural nylon. This material is more expensive but experience has shown that it keeps the setscrews from stripping out much better than the Delrin most vendors use. This nylon is machined on a lathe to accept the most popular size copper nail. They each include a nail and the nail is held in place by two setscrews. Refill nails are readily available.

After custom making several for customers and receiving numerous requests, I have started producing a detail pressure flaker. It is for serrating and doing fine edge work. It is made of structural nylon and is 5 inches in length. It includes 3 small copper nails with one installed.

After custom making several for customers and receiving numerous requests, I have started producing a medium pressure flaker. It is for doing medium to heavy work, but is still small enough for detailed work such as serrations. It is made of 5/8" delrin and is 6 inches in length. It is the perfect companion for my new Ishi Stick Lite.
